Cartoon zur Integration – Animier Deine Geschichte

Our project aims to empower migrant youth and youth leaders to explore, reveal, and
express the challenges faced by migrant communities through the creative medium of
cartoons, thereby fostering inclusion, dialogue, and active participation in society.
Our project has the following objectives:
To provide migrant youth with opportunities to express their challenges and perspectives in a
safe, creative, and supportive environment.
To equip participants with practical skills in digital cartoon creation, script writing, and
storytelling that they can use long after the project ends.
To encourage intercultural dialogue between migrant youth and local communities by using
cartoons as a medium for communication.
To promote social inclusion and combat stereotypes by giving visibility to migrant youth’s
voices and experiences.
To strengthen the competences of youth leaders working with migrant communities, enabling
them to use creative tools in their daily practice.
To foster active citizenship among migrant youth by encouraging them to participate in social
debates and raise awareness about their realities.
To create a collection of youth-created cartoons that highlight migration-related issues and
can be shared within communities and across partner organizations.
To establish sustainable networks between partner organizations, enhancing cooperation in
supporting migrant youth and promoting usage of creative methods.
