At first, I was nervous and excited, unsure of what to do. But everyone\u2019s warm welcome made me feel at home in no time. This experience wasn\u2019t just about volunteering \u2013 I got to explore different cities in Italy, meet amazing people, celebrate birthdays, go swimming in the river, hike, sing in the car, and even enjoy open-air cinemas. Every little moment turned into a memory I\u2019ll never forget. I also learned to make homemade pasta and tiramisu through the workshops \u2013 can\u2019t wait to try it at home! These 6.5 months taught me that it\u2019s the little moments and real connections with people that make an experience truly unforgettable. This journey gave me memories I\u2019ll cherish forever and reminded me to embrace every new adventure with an open heart.
