Merhaba ben Berra S\u00fcnb\u00fcl Ankara Gazi \u00dcniversitesi T\u0131p Fak\u00fcltesi 1.s\u0131n\u0131f \u00f6\u011frencisiyim temmuz ay\u0131nda ESC projesi ile \u0130spanyaya gelme f\u0131rsat\u0131 buldum. Valensiyaya ba\u011fl\u0131 k\u00fc\u00e7\u00fck bi yer olan Alzira\u2019da iki \u0130talyan bir de Rus ev arkada\u015f\u0131mla ya\u015famaya ba\u015flad\u0131m. Geldi\u011fim ilk hafta farkl\u0131 \u00fclkelerden on be\u015fe yak\u0131n g\u00f6n\u00fcll\u00fc ile tan\u0131\u015ft\u0131m. Onlar\u0131n k\u00fclt\u00fcrlerini, dillerini biraz da olsa \u00f6\u011frenebilmek g\u00fczel bi tecr\u00fcbeydi. Ben de onlara elimden geldi\u011fince k\u00fclt\u00fcr\u00fcm\u00fcz\u00fc tan\u0131tt\u0131m.T\u00fcrk kahvesi ve lokumunu yedikten sonra telvesi ile maske bile yapt\u0131k \u00e7ok ho\u015flar\u0131na gitti.Hepsi \u00e7ok samimi insanlar daha yeni tan\u0131\u015fmam\u0131za ra\u011fmen do\u011fum g\u00fcn\u00fcm i\u00e7in bir kutlama organize ettiler ve hayat\u0131mda ilk defa uluslararas\u0131 bir do\u011fum g\u00fcn\u00fc kutlad\u0131m \u00c7ek\u00e7eden \u0130talyancaya, Rus\u00e7adan Rumenceye 6-7 farkl\u0131 dilde do\u011fum g\u00fcn\u00fc \u015fark\u0131lar\u0131 s\u00f6ylendi benim i\u00e7in \u00e7ok \u00f6zeldi. Burada X\u00faquer Centre Educatiu isimli okulda \u00f6\u011fretmenlerin yeni d\u00f6nem i\u00e7in okulu haz\u0131rlamalar\u0131na yard\u0131m ediyorum yaz tatili dolay\u0131s\u0131yla bir s\u00fcre okula gidemedim o s\u00fcre\u00e7te de \u00fclkemi tan\u0131tt\u0131\u011f\u0131m bir sunum haz\u0131rlad\u0131m en k\u0131sa zamanda \u00f6\u011frencilere sunup onlara y\u00f6resel bir dans\u0131m\u0131z\u0131 \u00f6\u011fretece\u011fim. Okuldaki \u00f6\u011fretmenlerin \u00e7o\u011fu \u0130ngilizce bilmiyordu bu y\u00fczden genel olarak \u0130ngilizce \u00f6\u011fretmenleri Yolanda ve Gemma ile i\u015flerimi y\u00fcr\u00fctt\u00fcm hatta beraber okul d\u0131\u015f\u0131 aktivitelerde bulunup yerel festivallere bile kat\u0131ld\u0131k. Yaz boyunca \u00e7ok iyi seyahat etme f\u0131rsat\u0131 buldum \u00f6nce \u0130spanya \u015fehirleri:Barselona, Madrid, Valensiya, Granada, Sevilla, M\u00e1laga, C\u00e1diz, C\u00f3rdoba, Tarifa sonras\u0131nda da Portekiz\u2019in ba\u015fkenti Lizbon\u2019a seyahat ettim. Bu gezilerimde \u00e7ok b\u00fcy\u00fck maceralar ya\u015fad\u0131m. 20 ya\u015f\u0131mda b\u00f6yle bir projeye kat\u0131l\u0131p 2 ay tek ba\u015f\u0131ma hi\u00e7 bilmedi\u011fim bir \u00fclkede t\u00fcrl\u00fc ser\u00fcvenler ya\u015fad\u0131\u011f\u0131m i\u00e7in kendimi \u00e7ok \u015fansl\u0131 ve tecr\u00fcbeli hissediyorum.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hello, my name is Berra S\u00fcnb\u00fcl<\/strong>. I am a first-year medical student at Gazi University, Ankara<\/strong>. In July, I had the opportunity to come to Spain through an ESC project<\/strong>. I started living in Alzira<\/strong>, a small town near Valencia, together with two Italian and one Russian flatmate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During my first week here, I met around fifteen volunteers from different countries. It was such a great experience to learn a little about their cultures and languages. In return, I introduced them to our culture as much as I could. After tasting Turkish coffee and delight, we even made a face mask with the coffee grounds \u2014 they really loved it! Despite just meeting me, they were so kind and even organized a birthday celebration for me. For the first time in my life, I celebrated an international birthday<\/strong>, with songs sung in 6\u20137 different languages, from Czech to Italian, Russian to Romanian. It was truly special.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Here, I have been helping at X\u00faquer Centre Educatiu<\/strong>, assisting teachers in preparing the school for the new academic term. Since it was summer vacation, I couldn\u2019t go to school for a while, but during that time, I prepared a presentation about my country. Soon, I will present it to the students and even teach them one of our traditional dances. Since most of the teachers didn\u2019t speak English, I mainly worked with the English teachers, Yolanda<\/strong> and Gemma<\/strong>. We even joined school activities outside the classroom and participated in local festivals together.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
